Because we didn't quite get a quorum of voters at the Annual Meeting on October 18th, we are trying again. We need a quorum of member-owners to cast their vote for it to be legally binding, at least 67 voters.
If you have been a Member-owner for greater than 30 days (as per PPC Bylaws), we are asking you to vote for three new Board members and on three by-laws issues. You can read all about it here, but you must come in to the store to cast your vote.
HOW and WHEN
Voting will begin two weeks from now on December 21st and will go until December 31st. Here's how: the store cashiers will have the list of member-owner names. You will sign by your name and receive a ballot from the cashier. You will mark your ballot then and deposit it in the locked ballot box in the store, at 123 N. Hill Street, South Bend, Indiana..
Give us a few days to tally, and, if at least 67 people vote (10% of the 670 member-owners we have at present), we will have results.
Follow the links below to the candidate bios. Please read and decide (on which three board members) and then come into the store and vote. Your co-op really needs your participation in this vote. Without a quorum, the vote isn't legally binding.
